Summary of the novel
Mohabbat dil pe dastak: a masterpiece of Iffat Saher Taher, a never forgetting love story filled up to bring with emotions. The complete novel completely filled with love, the love of family, the friendship, the love between sisters, between friends, between brothers, the love is in every phrase. Iffat Saher's classic style, magical words won’t let reader to stop until the very end. There are four love stories in the novel, Anas the funniest guy of the "Meer house" who was engaged to Nageen and the story starts with their engagement ceremony. Although it was a totally arranged but Anas loves Nageen to the extreme extent and Nageen loves him, during the engagement ceremony Nofl, Nageen's brother who is extremely handsome and well established meets Saba, Anas's sister and was totally inspired by her simplicity, innocence and natural beauty, and wishes to marry her which both families accept and they get married. But Nofl's cousin who liked Nofl, tricks him in believing that Saba loved her couisn Emad, and Nofl starts doubting Saba. But the purity of Saba's charecter and their love was so immense and strong that at last they overcome every misunderstanding. But the story takes a shocking turn when Anas dies and Nageen loses her mind in grief, but later recovered by another sweet and silent love of Emad the playboy who becomes extremely loyal towards her. a third story is of Xaley an Shumooel, friends of Nofil who loved each other but Shumooel's feudal family system prevented them from being together and finally with many planning and efforts they get together. Another story is about Moaeed Hasan the most obedient son and influential person in Meer house and most rebel girl of the family Zoha Meer. Muaeed has loved Zoha for a long time but never lets his emotions revealed, Zoha on the other side likes a guy from her university and she also despises Muaeed in order to protect Zoha had been very strict with her. But finally as the name indicates, when love knocks on one's heart, they can't resist opening the door. It’s a marvelous story with all the emotions making the reader to fall in love with each and every character of the story.
